Art auction raises more funds for CSA degree show
In what appears to be an annual event in the Cambridge cultural diary, students and staff donated a wide range of original and printed pieces for the Cambridge School of Art auction.
As well as raising money for this year's degree show, it's a fun evening for both those involved in the school and members of the public. A perfect way to buy the work of some very well-established artists and to purchase student work before they become 'too famous and expensive,' as one punter put it. With a professional auctioneer working his way through numerous lots, bidding wars broke out on several pieces.
Very well organised and attended, the event raised over £3000.
