BA Illustration graduate wins prestigious Show and Tell award
Congratulations to Anna Betts, one of our graduating BA (Hons) Illustration students, who has recently won a Show and Tell Students' Choice award from international editorial design society SPD.
The Society of Publication Designers was set up in 1965 to promote and encourage excellence in editorial design, with members including art directors, designers, photo editors, editors and graphics professionals. Each year, SPD's Show and Tell awards invites submissions from upcoming student designers all over the world, highlighting Anna's impressive achievement - especially as, this year, all submissions were judged by a panel of respected art directors (Roger Black, John Walker and Genevieve Williams) with no rules or categories - they were simply asked to pick the best.
Anna's winning submission, a design for an agony aunt page in The Observer newspaper, can be seen in full on the SPD website.
