The Supanee Gazeley Fine Art Prize

We are pleased to announce that the winner of the Supanee Gazeley Prize 2012 is Jane Bryant.
The Dr Supanee Gazeley Fine Art Prize recognises the value of the arts and the importance of nurturing new talent. The competition is open to all final year Fine Art students studying for their first degree and exhibiting at the Cambridge School of Art Degree Show.
An annual prize of £2,000 is awarded for the best body of work displayed at the Degree Show. The award also gives the opportunity for public recognition and celebration of the work of students from the Cambridge School of Art.
Dr Supanee Gazeley is a former student of Anglia Ruskin University having graduated in 1962 with a Certificate in Private Secretaryship. She is also an internationally renowned artist, having launched her 'Dream Art' publicly in 1997 at a sell-out exhibition in Bangkok, Thailand. Since then her popularity has gone from strength to strength and she has received international acclaim for her abstract encaustic artworks. She has held numerous exhibitions in UK, Thailand and Hong Kong. She became an Honorary Doctor of the University in 2007.
