This half-day course is designed as a crash course in the basics of editing. It includes proofreading marks - a great CV add-on for kickstarting a career in publishing - as well as learning how to construct ideal copy.
1.00-3.00pm - Grammar for editors
3.00-3.30pm - Using proofreading marks
3.30-4.30pm - Copy-editing and proofreading
4.30-5.30pm - Substantive editing
