Stephanie joined Anglia Ruskin University in September 2011 and is a Lecturer in Organisation and Management at the Lord Ashcroft International Business School, Cambridge. She has a BA in Business Administration and Human Resource Management (Keele University), an MRes (Master of Social Science and Research) and an ESRC funded PhD in Management (Keele University).
Stephanie's principal research interest is in the field of business regulation and how organisations respond, manage and challenge self-regulation as the means to ensure compliance. This also draws upon the discourses of morality and denial as a means to justify organisational responses to self-regulation. The focus for Stephanie's research is in the Passive Fire Protection Industry. The industry is responsible for manufacturing and installing products which aim to improve fire safety in industrial and commercial buildings. Stephanie uses insights from ethnographic research to present the challenges and daily struggles individuals experience as they contend with working in a deregulated environment.
Currently, Stephanie is engaging in research about employer/employer branding and entrepreneurial leadership.
