Sandra is a lecturer in International Business at the Lord Ashcroft International Business School (LAIBS). Furthermore, she is Course Leader for the BA International Business Strategy and Module Leader for Japanese Economy.
Sandra completed her undergraduate studies in Business Administration at the University of Applied Sciences Landshut in Germany and an MSc in International Business Economics at LAIBS in Cambridge. She is currently finalizing her doctoral thesis on innovation support in Egypt and Morocco.
Prior to starting her current position in July 2012, she worked as an associate lecturer for LAIBS for two years and taught on a range of business and economics modules. These include International Business Environment and Strategy, Strategic Management, International Business Strategies in Action, Research Methods, EU Economy, Japanese Economy and Sustainable Management Futures.
In addition, Sandra has gained considerable international experience through consultancy, research and project management work conducted for several international organizations including the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development, the European Aeronautic Defence and Space Company and the European Patent Office.
Her research interests lie primarily in the area of innovation and entrepreneurship, the measurement of innovation performance and the transferability of innovation policies. She is also interested in public governance and administrative efficiency in the context of business facilitation.
