Saeed Sadighi is a PhD Researcher at the Lord Ashcroft International Business School (LAIBS) in Cambridge. His research interests lie in the area of SMEs' Innovation activities. In particular he explores the issues relating to the influences of cross-cultural factors on the SMEs innovation activities. He adopts mixed methods to investigate and co-relate different cultural dimensions to various challenges that SMEs face.

Saeed's current research directly contributes to the delivery of EU's flagship research projects called CURA-B. He is currently a member of the core team involved in delivering this £2.7m project. This research project has been conducted to assist enterprises to explore and adopt more efficient business and management strategies in the North-West Europe; UK, France, Belgium and the Netherlands. He is also a member of the CURA-B publication team which aims to publications in Peer Reviewed journals and he is now leading one of the publication tracks. Saeed has presented findings of the doctoral research and CURA-B in international conferences and doctoral colloquiums such as EURAM and BAM conferences. For future research endeavors, he is interested in developing the current model to a pioneer model, which is a triangulation of SME's internationalization, marketing and innovation by mixing the quantitative and qualitative approaches.

Over the last four years he has gained valuable experience in engaging with undergraduate, postgraduate and MBA students, where Saeed has lectured as well as tutored students in a wide range of subjects in International Business Management, Business Strategy, Cross-Cultural Management, Leadership and Team Management. He has been involved in Module Guide and Module Definition Form (MDF) design and preparation and he has advised students on appropriate research topics and provided formative and summative assessments.
