Roger Mumby-Croft has over thirty years experience both as an entrepreneur and academic, with special experience in developing the marketing entrepreneurship interface and its application to change management issues in fast growth companies.

As founder of the Seaking Group of companies, Roger took these companies from start up to a position of prominence within the seafood-processing sector before moving into academia in 1993. After joining Oxford Brookes in 1995, Roger lectured in the Business School on the subject of Entrepreneurship, before becoming Director of the Enterprise Centre (which he also founded) in September 2000. The main areas of activity for the Centre are to undertake both conceptual and applied research, to be the focus for the consultancy activities carried on in the School, and to design and deliver management development courses to employees of local institutions.

Roger is Chairman of the Oxfordshire Business Link Advisory Panel, Chairman of the Oxfordshire Business Support Organisation Forum, and a founder member of the Venturefest event. His professional awards include membership of the Chartered Institute of Marketing/MCIM and an MA from Warwick University. A European Union accredited special advisor on entrepreneurship and small business, Roger has received one of only 11 Business Fellowships awarded by The Higher Education Funding Council in the whole of England. Early in 2006, Roger's achievements in the fields of leadership, business creativity and enterprise education were recognised with the conferment of professorial status.
