Naowarat is a lecturer specializing in Information Technology and Quantitative Methods. Naowarat has worked as a professional software developer in a large software house and joined Anglia Ruskin University in 2003 where she has been involved in teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate level within the Chelmsford and Cambridge campuses.

Naowarat has managed and been involved in the development of a number of projects within LAIBS including:

• The Voyage Project funded by the Higher Education European Social Fund.
• Remote Learning project for for The Department for Business, Enterprise & Regulatory Reform (formerly the Department for Trade and Industry) sponsored project for the Retained Firefighters Union.
• Directly involved in establishing a series of relationships between Thai Government Organisations, Academic Partners, Business Associations and AIBS through the development of project proposals to the European Commission (SWITCH-Asia)
• Provided statistical data analysis for a number of research programmes including reviews of marketing campaign effectiveness for the private sector company.
• Supported and advised Thai students in establishing the first Thai Society at Cambridge campus. Produced the first Thai Newsletter and prospectus in Thai language for students and agents in Thailand in order to support international recruitment activities.

Naowarat is an external Examiner for London Metropolitan University for both undergraduate and postgraduate modules. Naowarat is also interested in using multimedia in teaching and learning. She has produced a number of video sessions on quantitative methods which are used to support students both inside and outside the classroom environment.
