Muriel Cadilhac is the Research Projects Manager at LAIBS/IIMP. She provides specialist support to academic staff on all aspects of research project application, administration and finance pre and post award. Her main responsibilities include project development, bid submission and post-bidding tasks for all research projects. She works closely with the Research & Business Development Team Manager and the Business Development Manager in supporting the Faculty External Income Development Group. Muriel also supports our Deputy Dean (Research & Enterprise) with our REF 2014 submission.

Before her appointment to this role, Muriel worked as the Research Project Co-ordinator on EU-funded project CURA-B. Muriel taught at Sidney Sussex and St John's Colleges, Cambridge for three years before spending two years in local government, working on projects in fields as diverse as public health, trading standards and European funding.

Muriel has a PhD in French and English Literature from the University of Cambridge and recently completed a Post-Graduate Diploma in Management at Warwick Business School. She has also devoted much time to volunteering for organisations such as Cancer Research UK and the National Trust.
