Peter lectures economics in the Lord Ashcroft International Business School (LAIBS). He is Course Leader for the BA Business Management course and runs the introductory Economics for Business and Management module.

Prior to joining LAIBS he worked at Manchester Business School on a project investigating the development of public private partnerships in transport throughout the European Union and then completed his PhD on the economics of military outsourcing at the University of York.

His research interests are primarily the boundaries between public and private provision of public services and comparisons between public, private and hybrid delivery of public services. He is also interested in labour economics, industrial organisation, public procurement and the economics of defence.
