Janet has recently joined the research team of LAIBS as Research Project Co-ordinator for the CURA-B project. Janet's role includes general project management duties as well as responsibility for the project's biannual financial audit. Janet also attends regular meetings with project partners in the UK and abroad.

Janet's extensive higher education experience includes collaborative research projects, teaching, programme management and academic administration in universities in Australia and the United States. Prior to joining LAIBS, Janet also worked as an Organisational Development and Equality and Diversity consultant and trainer in the UK and the United States. She has designed and implemented organisational change initiatives across all sectors and is an experienced mediator and coach. Janet has a Ph.D. in Sociology and a Post Graduate Certificate in Women's Studies from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor and received her B.A. (Hons.) in Sociology and a Post Graduate Diploma in Education from La Trobe University, Melbourne.
