Dale, previously a senior planner at the east of England regional planning body where he had responsibility for project managing major, large scale planning policies for the region, is now a Research Project Co-ordinator at the Centre for Enterprise Development and Research (CEDAR), which is part of the Lord Ashcroft International Business School at Anglia Ruskin University. His primary role is to manage the Antreman Project, whose objective is to set up an innovative Enterprise and Entrepreneurial Management Masters level degree course at the University of Bucharest, Romania.

Dale is a Licentiate Member of the Royal Town Planning Institute, a Member of the Chartered Management Institute and a qualified Prince 2 Practitioner.
