Carol is responsible for the development and delivery of Lord Ashcroft International Business School (LAIBS) corporate engagement and external relations strategic objectives. Carol also provides professional support to LAIBS staff on all aspects of external project activities (e.g. consultancy, knowledge transfer and corporate programmes/short courses), contract submission and post project tasks.

Carol's professional experience encompasses business development, project management and delivery of generalist human resource services. Carol is particularly skilful at matching university know-how, technology, staff, students and other assets to the identifiable needs of business.

Prior to joining LAIBS, Carol worked as a HR Consultant for a private consultancy in Dublin, and a Business Manager for the Institute of Work Psychology at the University of Sheffield Management School. To increase the Institute' s income revenue and its portfolio of links with the business community, she co-founded ConsultIWP, the commercial unit of the Institute. Carol has extensive experience in working in close partnership with clients across diverse sectors to deliver cost effective solutions to their needs.

Carol has a degree in Psychology from Queens University Belfast and a Masters in Organisational Psychology from Manchester Business School. Her passion lies in deepening links between Higher Education Institutions and the business community.
