IIMP Seminar - "How to write and publish quality journal articles based on qualitative data"
Organised by the Institute for International Management Practice - (IIMP)
"How to write and publish quality journal articles based on quantitative data"
Speaker: Prof Teemu Kautonen
Date: Tuesday 18 June 2013
Time: 11:00am, followed by lunch
Venue: Marconi Building, Chelmsford campus
Room: MAR 112
All staff and students of Anglia Ruskin are welcome to attend.
In this event Professor Teemu Kautonen (entrepreneurship/management) will discuss the tricks of the trade of preparing journal articles that apply statistical methods. The purpose of the talk is to highlight critical issues that are specific for quantitatively oriented articles and discuss good practices for overcoming typical pitfalls. Writing good quantitative papers is not witchcraft - but developing tacit knowledge of the rules of the game makes your writing more efficient, increases your chances of success in high-quality journals and lets you focus most of your energy on the academic content rather than on how to translate it into a good paper.
