Short Courses
Our suite of short, business-focused courses are designed to build competence and confidence without a significant commitment of time or budget. Relevant to a range of business sectors and disciplines, our courses deliver new insights and ideas, introduce new topics and concepts, and encourage reflection and innovation, helping delegates meet the immediate challenges of the workplace while also encouraging a strategic approach. As all courses are delivered by academic and business experts from across Lord Ashcroft International Business School, our course portfolio also offers unexpected breadth and depth.
Courses vary in intensity, duration, location, and time, offering real flexibility for staff, and real control over budgets. We also create bespoke programmes for employers wanting to tailor content to more specific workplace contexts, or who want to enrol a number of delegates at the same time.

Developing Managers on the Frontline
Developing Managers on the Frontline is an innovative and practical programme aimed at individuals who are in, or about to take on, their first management role.
The programme of six half day courses will provide new managers with a more holistic view of the role of management and its impact on business operations, client relationships and the organisation's people. The programme will also provide businesses with the opportunity to develop well rounded and informed managers with the capability to think of the 'big picture' in regard to business management for improved responsiveness
and problem resolution.
The open programme will launch in Autumn 2013 but organisations have the opportunity to attend a FREE taster day.
The purpose of the taster days is twofold - to find out more about our new programme and walk away with two or three valuable ideas or tools that managers can put into practice immediately, and to provide us with feedback on how helpful the sessions were, and suggestions for improvement for the future.
Taster day 1:
Date: Wednesday 12th June 2013
Time: 08:45 - 16:45
Venue: Lord Ashcroft International Business School, Cambridge Campus
Tester day 2:
Date: Friday 12th July 2013
Time: 08.45 - 16:45
