The Lord Ashcroft Business School offers an innovative three year work-based BA (Hons) Management & Leadership, which it currently delivers in partnership with Barclays Retail Banking. Students are employed by Barclays Retail Banking and sponsored through all three years of the degree, which forms part of Barclays' innovative Retail Development Programme. Aligning the degree to the Retail Development Programme ensures that both individual and organisational needs are met.

Basildon & Thurrock University Hospitals

The Lord Ashcroft International Business School is currently working on an MA Leadership, a highly innovative award which has been developed in close partnership with Basildon & Thurrock University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust (the Trust). Whereas most university qualifications are academic and topic orientated, the MA Leadership is comprised entirely of practical projects, which are agreed with the organisation.

Crawford & Co.

The Lord Ashcroft International Business School (LAIBS) was engaged by Crawford & Company in 2007 for leadership and management training to support the training needs of Crawford's middle/senior managers within the UK and throughout Europe. The programme is taught at LAIBS in Chelmsford, with cohorts of up to 50 students per year. LAIBS lecturers provide the majority of the taught input, although Crawford staff provide guest seminars to ensure the topics are clearly contextualised to the company.

Cultural and Arts Industry

In combination with public agencies throughout the Eastern region - and beyond - the Lord Ashcroft International Business School runs a programme of knowledge transfer activities and specialised short courses, building on the back of the long-established Masters Degree course in Arts Management. These involve short courses and organisation-based training in:

Our LAIBS Chelmsford Department hosts the Centre for Fire Service Research and Professional Development (CFRPD) which has developed a number of relationships with several brigades:

The Lord Ashcroft International Business School has partnered with UPS, the world's largest package delivery company, to launch an undergraduate and postgraduate work-based leadership degree programme for approximately 150 of UPS's employees in the UK.
