Heathrow airport pick up: 18 September 2013
Coach Service from Heathrow airport Terminal 3 to Anglia Ruskin University
We will be offering a coach pick up service to each campus (Cambridge and Chelmsford) on Wednesday 18 September 2013. There will be 2 coach pickups for each campus: the first will leave Heathrow at 10:30am, and the second will leave Heathrow at 4pm.
Cambridge Campus pick up: 18 September, 10:30am and 4pm - bookings now open
Chelmsford campus pick up : 18 September, 10:30am and 4pm - bookings now open
We therefore recommend that you book your flight so that you land in the UK with sufficient time to make use of one of these services. There is comprehensive travel information for both campuses in our Welcome guide (section 5). We recommend that you print off that information and carry it with you in your hand luggage.
Please read the section below ('Travelling Independently') for information on how to travel to the campus using public transport.
Who will meet me and where?
The pick-up point is the Terminal 3 'Meeting Point' located on the ground floor in the Arrivals building. An Anglia Ruskin representative in a red t-shirt will be there.
You should arrive at the meeting point at least 30 minutes before the coach departs. Your flight arrival time at Heathrow should be at least 2 hours before the coach departure time to allow for luggage collection, immigration and customs.
If you arrive at a different Terminal please give yourself at least 20-30 minutes after you have left customs to get to the Meeting Point in Terminal 3.
Other important information
This service operates at the time specified. If you arrive at any other time or prefer not to wait for the coach, you are responsible for making your own travel arrangements to our University. If your flight is delayed we are unable to wait, as other students will also be using this service. Please read the section 'Travelling Independently' below.
Luggage is limited to two medium sized suitcases or one large suitcase plus hand luggage. If you bring more than this you may have to make your own travel arrangements, as space is very limited.
How do I reserve a seat on the coach?
Bookings are made on line by clicking the link below. After you have submitted your booking you will automatically receive a confirmation email of your reservation; keep it safe. You will receive no further emails regarding your booking. It is important that you bring the confirmation email plus your Anglia Ruskin offer letter to access the coach.
If you need to cancel or amend your booking please email internationalarrivals@anglia.ac.uk. We aim to respond to all emails sent to this address within 48 hours of receipt.
