Anglia Ruskin University offers selective sports scholarships and bursaries to students of high potential enrolling on our academic programmes. Awards range from £500 to £1,000 per year, with payments split by semester, and are available in a variety of sports including cricket, rowing, athletics and swimming.

To be eligible for an Anglia Ruskin sports scholarship you must meet the following criteria:

• Have a firm acceptance, or conditional offer for an Anglia Ruskin University undergraduate degree course
• Need to show evidence of competing at national level, or evidence of having previously achieved national ranking and/or have the potential to (re)achieve this standard
• Complete the application form outlining your sporting interests and achievements
• On acceptance of the award be prepared to sign a contract agreeing to represent Anglia Ruskin University in British Universities and Colleges Sport (BUCS) competitions and to promote the work of Anglia Ruskin University, locally, regionally and nationally.

Please note that applications for a Sports Scholarship for the 2011/12 academic year were considered at a meeting of the Sports Scholarship Committee held on Wednesday 23 November 2011 and so no new applications can be considered for this year.
