Many people dream of a career playing their chosen sport but this often means leaving behind academic studies. MCC Universities offer you the chance to pursue your cricket career at Anglia Ruskin University without compromising your education. A recently re-laid wicket, purpose built indoor cricket school, an established Sports Injuries Clinic at Addenbrooke's hospital and Anglia Ruskin's Sports Science and Optometry Departments, all assist in the production of cricketing and academic excellence.
What are MCC Universities?
MCC Universities is a scheme to promote cricketing excellence at selected university centres. The MCCU Scheme aim is to provide talented and aspiring young cricketers who wish to further their education with unrivalled opportunities to develop their cricket at university. There are six MCCUs around the country; Cardiff/Glamorgan, Durham, Leeds/Bradford, Loughborough, Oxford and here at Cambridge. The Cambridge Centre is a joint venture between Cambridge University and Anglia Ruskin University. For further information about the MCC Universities see:
