Test Results
Test results will be posted 13 calendar days after the test. This means that results will be posted on the second Friday following a Saturday test or the second Wednesday following a Thursday test. You are reminded to book your test in good time to meet any deadline you may have, as we cannot release results any earlier than 13 calendar days. Test results cannot be given over the phone, fax/email or text.You will only receive one copy of your results. Please look after your result as we cannot give you a new one if you lose it.
If you wish for further copies to be sent to academic institutions, government agencies, professional bodies or employers, please complete the recognising organisations section, either when you apply on-line for the test or on the test day. We can send up to five copies for free, after that we can forward these on at a cost of £5 per copy.
Online Results Service
Results can be accessed via the online registration system. To search for your results you will need to enter the test date, date of birth, identity documents number and candidate number.Results are available online from 1:00pm on the 13th calendar day after your test date.
Please note: The identity document number is the Passport or National Identity card number which you used on the test date. The centre is unable to release candidate numbers after a test date, therefore it is important that you keep the candidate number you are given on the test date as reference.
Enquiry of Results (EOR)
If you wish to request a re-mark of your results you must complete the Enquiry Of Results (EOR) application form below. The re-mark of your work is carried out by trained clerical markers and Cambridge English Language Assessment-appointed Examiners employed by the British Council.All enquiries must be made within 6 weeks of the test date. You can choose to have one or more test module(s) re-marked.
The re-mark fee is £60. The full fee will be refunded by the test centre if a result is changed to a higher band score. The fee can be made by cheque or postal order made payable to Anglia Ruskin University or by credit/debit card. Online payment is not available for EOR applications.
You must complete both pages of the form and post, along with your £60 fee and original Test Report Form, to the test centre.
The British Council will usually notify the test centre of the re-mark result approximately 8 weeks after receipt of your exam materials. You will receive an EOR feedback letter stating your final result status. You should make all enquiries regarding the progress of your re-mark to the test centre.
