Welcome to IELTS at Anglia Ruskin University

Anglia Ruskin University has successfully run the IELTS test for nearly two decades and the university is now one of the largest centres in the country.

We offer tests at Anglia Ruskin University in Cambridge, but also at test venues in Chelmsford, Norwich and Peterborough. All enquiries need to be directed to the Cambridge office only. We do not have offices at Chelmsford, Norwich or Peterborough

The IELTS Administration staff for all of the centres are:

We are available by telephone Monday - Friday 9:00 - 16:30, with an answering machine at other times, so your enquiries are dealt with quickly and efficiently. You can also visit the office at Anglia Ruskin University in person, which is located in Room Hel065 in the Helmore building (ground floor). The office hours are Monday - Friday 9:30 - 15:30. These same members of staff will also be administering the test date, therefore making our relationship with our candidates more personal. We also have an experienced team of invigilators and examiners who have been trained to a high standard, expected both by Anglia Ruskin University and the three joint managers, Cambridge English Language Assessment, British Council and IDP IELTS Australia. All examiners are regularly monitored and have to undertake re-training every two years to ensure a consistent standard is maintained.

The University is situated a short ten minute walk from the historic city centre. We are also conveniently close to the rail and bus stations. A map of the university and further detailed information on how to get to the university is given on the our venues page.
