Cambridge campus

Our Cambridge campus is in the heart of the city and has recently reached a milestone in its history with the opening of the new £35-million redevelopment. The modernised campus opened in September 2011.

This flexible facility is ideal for conferences, exhibitions and events, ranging from small seminars to impressive large scale events with up to 400 delegates.

Our Lord Ashcroft International Business School, provides a modern conference space situated around a charming courtyard providing valuable outside space. In addition the site boasts:

• 400-seat lecture theatre
• Two 200-seat lecture theatres
• Harvard-style lecture theatre
• Roof terraces and courtyards to relax between sessions
• 4 catering outlets, ranging from a Costa coffee to a refectory with a selection of hot and cold meals
• Campus-wide Wi-Fi

There are also a number of specialist facilities:

• New rehearsal spaces (for performing arts courses)
• TV studio
• Mock Law Court
• 266-seat Theatre
• Art Gallery, with its groundbreaking digital exhibition space

Chelmsford Campus

Our Chelmsford site, known as the Rivermead campus, is a 10-minute walk from the city centre in a picturesque location on the banks of the river Chelmer. Rivermead is a thoroughly modern campus with a wealth of green open spaces, and just a short walk from the Chelmer Valley Local Nature Reserve.

Over the past 10 years the Rivermead campus has undergone a significant amount of investment and is packed with all the state-of-the-art facilities you would expect. Our campus facilities are ideal for conferences, exhibitions and events, our facilities include:

• 400-seat lecture theatre
• 200-seat lecture theatre
• Two 150+ lecture theatres
• 140-seat lecture theatre
• 125-seat lecture theatre
• Rivermead restaurant and Tindal café

Residential Accommodation
We can also provide accommodation at the halls of residence (dependant on the time of year, please do not hesitate to contact us to discuss your requirements further). Conference Parking
We have car park spaces available on the Chelmsford campus which are dedicated to conference delegates. Please note spaces are limited, and you will need to book on confirming your event with us, to avoid disappointment. Alternative public car parks are available in walking distance.

Alternatively, we can offer your delegates the option of using the Park & Ride which runs through our campus. We can also offer delegates a direct line rail link, our campus is only a 10 minute walk from the station which is on the main London Liverpool Street - Ipswich line.
