Swinhoe Halls of Residence is a great place to live, and being on-campus it is perfect if you would like to be seconds away from your lectures.

Swinhoe has 121 residents. It has 117 single study bedrooms, and 2 twin rooms.

Shower rooms - you will have your own sink in your bedroom, and share a shower room and toilets. 11 of the bedrooms have their own en-suite shower and toilet
Furniture - single bed, desk, chair and wardrobe
Internet - wired, included in the rent
TV - no aerial point in the room. There is one in each kitchen
Phone - you will have a telephone point in your room

Between five and eight students share each kitchen. It has a fridge, freezer, microwave and cooker. It does not include a kettle or toaster.

Located on campus, Swinhoe is close to your lectures, the library, computer areas, campus shops, gym and a short walk from restaurants and shops.

Residential Assistants are available on-call 24 hours a day
Security - CCTV and 24 hour campus security
Adapted rooms - 6 adapted rooms are available for students with medical needs. These rooms are suitable for wheelchair access and have a call alarm system. 3 additional rooms are adapted for visual and hearing impaired students
Cleaning - the stairs and corridors will be cleaned. You will need to clean your bedroom, bathroom and the kitchen

Academic year occupancy agreements run for 39 weeks and three nights from mid September 2013 until late June 2014
Rent for 2013/14 is £108.44 per week for most rooms. Rent includes bills to a generous threshold
