Peter Taylor House is the larger of our two on-campus halls of residence. It's within easy walking distance of shops, restaurants, the University Library, computer rooms and, most importantly, your lectures!

The bedrooms

It has 254 single study rooms.

• En-suite - you will have your own shower and toilet
• Furniture - single bed, desk, chair and wardrobe
• Internet - wired, included in the rent
• TV - there is an aerial point in each bedroom
• Phone - there are no telephone points

The kitchen

3-10 students share each kitchen. It has a fridge, freezer, microwave and cooker. It does not include a kettle or toaster.

The building

Located on campus, Peter Taylor House is close to your lectures, the University Library, computer areas, campus shops, gym and a short walk from restaurants and shops.

• Bicycles - sheltered storage
• Cars - no car parking
• Laundrette - with coin-operated machines.

Support and services

• Residential Assistants - are available on-call 24 hours a day
• Security - CCTV and 24 hour campus security
• Adapted rooms - 6 adapted rooms are available for students with special needs. These rooms are suitable for wheelchair access and have a call alarm system. 3 additional rooms are adapted for visual and hearing impaired students
• Cleaning in common areas - the stairs and corridors will be cleaned, you will need to clean your own bedroom, en-suite and the kitchen.

Occupancy agreements

• Academic year occupancy agreements run from for 39 weeks and 3 nights from mid September 2013 until late June 2014
• Rent for 2013/14 is from £119.59 per week. Rent includes bills to a generous threshold
• The property is rented directly through Anglia Ruskin
