Partnership houses

Anglia Ruskin University is working in partnership with a local letting agency the Whitfield Group who hold a number of student houses exclusively for Anglia Ruskin students who apply for accommodation through the University.

The bedrooms

9 houses/flats with a total of 49 bedrooms are available; some with shared shower rooms and toilet facilities and some en-suite.

Shared bathrooms and en-suites - if your room is not en-suite you will share a shower room and toilet
Furniture - single bed, desk, chair and wardrobe
Internet - included in the rent

The kitchens

You will share a kitchen with other Anglia Ruskin students. Each kitchen has a dining area generally shared by 4-8 students. You will need to provide your own cooking utensils.

The houses

The Whitfield Group has properties in great locations within 1.5 miles of the campus. You will enter into an agreement with the Whitfield Group and pay all monies due to them directly.

If you are offered a room in one of these houses you will be invited to view the property, meet potential house mates and the management company before you commit to a contract. Viewing days are normally scheduled in late August.

Occupancy agreements

The occupancy agreement runs from Monday 16 September 2013 for 11 months ending on Friday 15 August 2014
Rent for 2013/14 is from £122 to £139 per week (£5855 - £6628 for 11 months), including utility bills, core personal possessions insurance and communal TV license
All bedrooms are allocated on a first come first served basis by the date your accommodation application is received
