Criteria for applying - Cambridge

If you'd like to apply for one of our Cambridge halls or houses, you'll need to meet these criteria:

• You've Anglia Ruskin University as your first choice.
• You've firmly accepted a conditional or unconditional offer to study at Cambridge from us.
• You'll be studying a full-time course.
• Your home is more than 35 miles away from the Cambridge campus. You can check on the 35 mile Radius Map or calculate the distance from East Road, Cambridge CB1 1PT using the Google Distance Calculator.

What can I do if I live within the 35 mile radius?

If you live within the 35 mile radius but would like to be closer to our Cambridge campus, you can look for a room in a shared house or a whole property that is rented to you by a private landlord or agent.
