Cambridge halls and houses

Current availability for September 2012 starters

UK/EU students
- private sector accommodation
Private sector accommodation is a popular choice in Cambridge - you can share a house with other Anglia Ruskin students, whilst living in the city close to campus and your lectures. Private sector availability is currently very good. We can help you find a shared house with other Anglia Ruskin students, through Studentpad, our house hunting site which has hundreds of rooms to rent. High levels of applicants for courses has meant that university accommodation for UK/EU students in Cambridge is currently fully booked for the 2012/13 Academic Year. We are now taking applications for a waiting list only, but as we cannot guarantee a place in university accommodation at this stage, we encourage you to use our house hunting services.
Please go to our private sector house hunting pages.

Overview

In Cambridge, you have options to live in halls on-campus, halls off-campus or our shared houses that are within easy walk of campus.

You'll have the company of other Anglia Ruskin students. In most, you'll share a kitchen and hallway, and sometimes the bathroom (although some rooms are en-suite with their own shower and toilet, and some are studio apartments with their own kitchenette, shower and toilet). Each hall or house offers a different lifestyle, social opportunities and surroundings.

They are all kept in great condition by either Anglia Ruskin, or organisations that we partner with. You can browse the pictures and information about our halls and houses. When you apply, you will be able to indicate your top eight preferences. But before you apply, check the criteria for applying and current availability.

How do they compare and how much do they cost?
