Will I need to insure my personal possessions?

If you will be living in Anglia Ruskin managed housing (Anastasia House, Collier Road shared houses, University shared houses, Peter Taylor House, Swinhoe Hall and Student Village), your possessions will be automatically covered up to £5,000 through Endsleigh, our partnership insurer. Please review your cover to make sure that you're aware of what the policy covers and the options available to you for extending your policy. You can view the policy below in Related documents.

If you are in accommodation not managed by Anglia Ruskin (such as CB1, YMCA, Sedley Court and The Forum) you can arrange your own personal possessions insurance.

Can I bring my car with me?

Generally students are not allowed to bring their cars with them due to very limited parking, and the University's car parking policy.

Our Chelmsford campus has limited parking if you have special circumstances - either a medical requirement or if your course involves a placement away from campus. Read more about Chelmsford car parking.
