The Employability Service at Anglia Ruskin is working in partnership with 'The Mentor Hive' to offer mentoring to all second year students studying at our university.

Making the move from university to employment can be daunting. The extra advice and support of a mentor can help provide guidance to give you the confidence you need to make the transition from study to work and improve your employability skills.

What help can you expect from the Scheme?

• You'll enhance skills that can improve your employability
• You'll develop your organisation/business awareness
• You'll be able to have access to employer networks not otherwise available
• You can plan an individual programme with your mentor to meet your personal development needs.

YOU drive this process! You and your mentor decide whether you would prefer to meet face to face at your mentors work place, over Skype or just via email.

Mentoring for Law Students

If you are studying on one of our Law courses you will have the opportunity to be paired with a Law professional and benefit from face-to-face advice on a one-to-one basis. Whenever possible the mentoring relationship takes place at the professionals workplace.
