Job Fairs

Campus-based Job Fairs are a highlight of the employability calendar; these events provide our students and graduates with an opportunity to interact with a number of employers in one place. Major fairs are hosted annually at both Cambridge and Chelmsford, with organisations ranging in size from FTSE businesses to SMEs. Our team also organises faculty-specific employment fairs where jobs relevant to your academic qualification will be promoted.

There are a number of major graduate and student job fairs which take place seasonally, usually Autumn and Spring, organised by external organisations such as the London Graduate Fair. Our team organise trips from the campus to these events and accompany students to advise and support them in their networking.

Employer-led Events

Our strong relationships with businesses in the region and beyond, allows us to offer our students major employer presentations or niche skills development sessions. Recent highlights include a career planning seminar from HM Prison Service and Cambridgeshire Constabulary to students on the Public Service degree course; an international hi-tech IT organisation presenting their Virtualization Project to Science & Technology students and a national insurance company presenting opportunities on their graduate training scheme.
