The Employability Service at Anglia Ruskin University offers a varied program of events throughout the academic year aimed at enhancing our students' employability skills. Our close links with industry and commerce mean that many events are run in conjunction with employers from the UK and beyond. This ensures that Anglia Ruskin University students are offered the most relevant, up to date and useful employment information possible.
We run regular Employment Fairs and Employer-led Events. These may be faculty or course-specific, or more generic events.
Workshops
Workshops are a key method of interaction between the Employability Service and our students. There are a wide variety of workshops on offer throughout the year which deliver employability skills information in a succinct and effective manner. Topics covered include:
Company Visits
We regularly host visits to employer premises to offer our students a 'behind the scenes' experience within a real working environment, covering a number of industries. Recent tours have included the Britvic bottling and distribution plant at Becton, the London 2012 Olympic site and the research and development facility at Ford Motor Company, Dunton.
Whatever your career goal you can be sure that the Employability Service will be with you at every step to give you the best skills possible to achieve it.
