The Employability Service at Anglia Ruskin University provides a platform for employers to engage with students whether this is through job advertising, hosting employer lead talks, company visits or job fairs.

Recruitment solutions

We can promote your job opportunities by publicising vacancies or work experience placements for free on our employability web pages, via our social media channels and by targeting the types of students/graduates you are seeking direct through our recruitment database.

We utilise the information screens around campus, social media channels and more traditional posters and talks after lectures to promote your employment opportunities. In addition to this we are able to send regular email alerts to students directing them to your organisation's website where they can find out more about job opportunities, upload their CV and sign-up for job alerts.

Working With Us

We are always seeking new and innovative ways to engage with employers of all sizes in both the public and private sector and we would be delighted to hear from you if you would like to reach our students for any reason. For example you may wish to invite our students to visit your business, have a tour of your factory or shadow some of your team, alternatively you may want to visit us at one of our campuses and speak to our students about your career choices, or impart anything you think they may benefit from.

The Mentor Scheme

Anglia Ruskin University takes employability very seriously. It is a very competitive marketplace, and all students need help in understanding the challenges ahead of them.

Making the move from university to employment can be daunting. The extra advice and support of a mentor helps provide guidance to give a student the confidence needed to make the transition from study to work and improve their employability skills.

From 2013 the Employability Service at Anglia Ruskin will be working in partnership with 'The Mentor Hive' to offer mentoring to all second year students studying at our university.

We also offer the Anglia Law School Mentoring Scheme for our Law students who receive support from Law Professionals on a one-to-one basis.
