About us

I was impressed by the professionalism and the attention that I received. It truly excelled all my expectations (Anonymous)

The Anglia Assessment Centre was set up by Anglia Ruskin University in 1996 under the name of 'The East Anglia Regional Access Centre (EARAC)' in partnership with four other universities in order to deliver quality Disabled Students' Allowance (DSA) needs assessments across the eastern region. As the DSA grew, most of these partners became fully recognised Access Centres in their own right. In 2005, we changed our name to the Anglia Assessment Centre to reflect this change in the organisational structure of the Centre.

We are a fully accredited Access Centre, registered with the Disabled Students' Allowance Quality Assurance Group (DSA-QAG) and we are a member of the National Network of Assessment Centres (NNAC).

Whilst we are based within Anglia Ruskin University, our service is available to you whichever university in the United Kingdom you study at.
