Greetings from the British Council China!

The British Council runs an Alumni UK network which is a platform for Chinese students returned from the UK to expand their social network and explore career-enhancing opportunities. It has been running since 1999 and has over 13,000 members.

Throughout the year, we run tailor-made events all around the country. The career development workshop helps alumni to better understand the job market in China; the professional development seminar keeps alumni updated with the most recent development in their respective business area; our annual ball and other networking activities provide opportunities to meet with people who have shared a similar experience. Our network provides alumni with the opportunity to widen their network of contacts within their professional field and beyond.

Alumni are invited to British Council educational and cultural events held during the year and will also be updated on recent developments in science and technology, education, law, arts and health through various alumni communications platforms.
