Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP)
Growing your business
Using graduate skills to increase profitability- Do you work for a SME?
- Do you have a bright idea for your company?
- Do you lack the resources and expertise to implement the idea?
- Does a grant worth £48,000 to implement it sound interesting?
If Yes, with the help of the Knowledge Transfer Partnerships (KTP) you can now complete that project you've had on the back burner. KTP aims to improve your company profits and productivity through collaborative work with a university, whilst developing a recent graduate as a future business leader. A high-calibre graduate (average age 27) manages and implements the project, which can last between 18 months and three years, whilst supported by the expertise of specialist Anglia Ruskin academics. The graduate benefits from a fast track training programme and industrial experience, whilst Anglia Ruskin gains an industrial link and the company gets their innovative technology or business improvement project completed cost effectively.
For each KTP the average gain to the company in improved profits is £227,000.
