Hello everyone. Aspects has arrived a little later this time, so my apologies for that, but we had such a busy autumn that it was decided to push back the publication so we could add in all the things that have been going on - and the exciting things we're planning this year.

So where do I start about the last few months? Probably with a fabulous round of graduation ceremonies in October, when we welcomed the largest number of graduating students and guests that we have ever seen, with over 17,500 people attending ceremonies at Cambridge and Chelmsford. Our post-ceremony survey showed a high level of satisfaction. During these ceremonies we welcomed 17 new honoraries to our Anglia Ruskin family. Our busy autumn then continued with a three-week telephone contact and fundraising campaign - our annual telethon - where our current students spoke to over 1,000 alumni to find out what they have been doing since graduation and to ask them to support Anglia Ruskin. This is a great opportunity to bring our current and past students together.

So what about 2013? Well, it is promising to be equally busy! During the coming year Anglia Ruskin will be celebrating 21 years since becoming a university in 1992. We would like you all to help us celebrate, so we are running an event on both campuses (11th May in Cambridge, 15th June in Chelmsford) to which you are invited. Please do come along and help us celebrate - you can book your place by clicking on the Especially for Alumni section.

In addition, we are currently working with John Rutter on his third 'Come and Sing' day in Chelmsford Cathedral on 1st June, so if you like to sing, this is the event for you! In aid of Music Therapy, this is always a sell-out event, so make sure you book your place early by clicking on Anglia Ruskin News and then the event. And for our MBA graduates, the annual dinner will be in London on 10th July, so plenty you can get involved with.

I'll finish with my usual request for you to keep in touch. Let us have your email for fast and efficient contact and please register with our Alumni Network Directory so you can also keep in touch with each other too! A Happy New Year to you and I hope to see you at one of the events in 2013.
