The Department of Optometry and Ophthalmic Dispensing has a long-established relationship with some of the UK's largest retail opticians, including Specsavers, Boots and Vision Express. These partnerships have created unique opportunities for students to engage in work-based learning, progressing from certificate courses to professional qualifications in ophthalmic dispensing via our specialist Foundation Degree in Ophthalmic Dispensing.
