Description

All you need to know about tracheostomies.

Interactive lectures, small group workshops and high fidelity simulation. Featuring:

  • interprofessional learning in our high fidelity simulation suite
  • rehearse your clinical skills as part of the multiprofessional team, with feedback in a supportive learning environment
  • tracheostomy emergencies
  • National Tracheostomy Safety Project algorithms and techniques
  • Emergency Cricothyroidotomy and Surgical Airway.

Suitable for:

  • ENT/Max fax doctors
  • ENT/Max fax nurses
  • physiotherapists
  • anaesthetists/intensivists
  • operating department practitioners (ODPs).

Five CPD points applied for from the Royal College of Anaesthetists.
Matrix codes 1B02, 1C01, 1C02, 2A01, 2A06, 3A01.
CPD credits are transferable between most colleges.

Trache-TIPS is fully funded by Health Education East of England. To ensure an interprofessional learning experience limited places are available for each specialty on each course date.
