Location: Postgraduate Medical Institute, Michael Salmon Building, Anglia Ruskin University, Bishop Hall Lane, Chelmsford, Essex, CM1 1SQ

Description

A full day of simulated practice for FY1, FY2 doctors and Band 5-7 nurses, featuring: 

  • a systematic approach to the recognition, assessment and initial management of acutely ill adult patients, with emphasis on ABCDE
  • reinforcement of important aspects of patient safety 
  • introduction and overview to human factors and their importance in good clinical care.
