Vice Chancellor to leave Anglia Ruskin University

It is announced that Professor David Tidmarsh, Vice Chancellor and Chief Executive at Anglia Ruskin University, is to leave the University to take up a new post as Vice Chancellor of the University of Central England in Birmingham on the expiry of his contract with Anglia Ruskin in May 2007. Professor Tidmarsh joined the University in 2004.
Colin Day, Chairman of the Board of Governors at Anglia Ruskin said:
"We are very sorry to be losing David. In a relatively short time with us David has made an immense impression upon the University and he will leave us in a significantly improved state equipped to face the challenges ahead. We wish him every success in his new role. We will begin immediately the search for a suitable successor to carry through the many initiatives David has set in train and the many new initiatives planned."
