Anglia Ruskin University is holding an undergraduate Open Day on Saturday, 8 October to help explain the upcoming changes to student finance – as well as offer an opportunity to explore the Riverside campus in Chelmsford.

The new finance system comes into effect for those applying to start university next year and the Open Day will feature specific finance talks explaining the impact of the new fees structure and student loans arrangements.

Chris Jones, Anglia Ruskin’s Open Day coordinator, said:

“Before you think about applying to university you need to know exactly what your options are with regards to funding, as well as have a close look at the courses you’re interested in.

“This information is exactly what we offer at our Open Day, as it’s designed to provide all the information you might need in one visit.”

Key members of each Faculty and support service will be on hand to answer questions, while current students will talk about their experiences of studying at Anglia Ruskin.

Anglia Ruskin Open Days usually attract between 800-1,000 prospective students to the campus, plus members of their family and friends. There are four Open Days staged throughout the year.

Anyone interested in attending the 8 October Open Day in Chelmsford, which runs from 10am-3pm, can pre-register online at www.anglia.ac.uk/openday or simply turn up on the day. For further information, call 0845 271 3333.
