Virtual Open Day means visitors need not leave the home
Anglia Ruskin University has launched a new Virtual Open Day facility for those interested in going to university which means that prospective students can visit without actually leaving home.
The Virtual Open Day is a microsite which hosts videos on everything from finance to the Students’ Union as well as 360 degree tours of many of the facilities including the fitness suites, lecture theatres and accommodation.
It’s a fantastic digital resource built for those who are unable to attend a university
Open Day in person. The Virtual Open Day allows visitors the opportunity to explore every aspect of university life. Those interested can look around the newly acquired student accommodation at Anastasia House, opposite the East Road main campus and the main Student Village; and find out about financial aid and get an introduction to the Faculties, including the Faculty of Arts Law & Social Sciences, the Faculty of Science & Technology, the Faculty of Health & Social Care, the Faculty of Education and the Ashcroft International Business School.
As well as tours of the campuses, the microsite offers tours of Cambridge and Chelmsford for those who want to know more about the locality.
Commenting on this new online facility, Janay Smith, Senior Marketing Executive at Anglia Ruskin University, said:
