Special bus will visit towns and cities across the East of England
Anglia Ruskin University will take to the road this week to help prospective university students, teachers and parents understand the upcoming changes to student finances in England for those applying to start in 2012.
Throughout September and October Anglia Ruskin’s new purpose-designed double-decker bus will be visiting schools, colleges and town centres across the East of England to bring everyone up to speed about the new student finance, fees and funding situation.
The Roadshow bus features computers for students to access information, while the top-deck has been converted into a mini lecture theatre allowing staff to cover topics such as budgeting, the university application process and writing personal statements, as well as the new fees and loans structure.
Sandra Hollis, Pro Vice-Chancellor of Anglia Ruskin, said:
The Roadshow begins on Thursday 8 September at Chelmsford College and will take in over 20 towns and cities across the region during the next two months. If you spot the Anglia Ruskin Roadshow bus on its travels tweet #aruroadshow @AngliaRuskin, with the most imaginative tweet winning a £50 shopping voucher.
