Tom is a PhD protein biochemist with pharmaceutical and biological R&D experience, project and laboratory management skills and academic teaching background.

Tom did his PhD on microbial protein biochemistry at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, Israel, were he also taught basic microbiology for undergraduate students. In 2012 he joined the analytic research and development division at Perrigo pharmaceuticals, working as a senior scientist and primary pharmaceutical packaging specialist, on development of compatible pharmaceutical grade packaging and delivery systems. In 2016 Tom joined the Anglia Ruskin Clinical Trials Unit as project manager.
