Paul is a HCPC Paramedic with interests in Out-of-Hospital patient assessment, referral and Communication. He currently maintains professional clinical practice with the London Ambulance Service NHS Trust (LAS) as Bank Paramedic in East London.


Paul Joined the London Ambulance Service in 1986 and qualified a Paramedic in 1991 working mainly in the East of London. He has experiences include working for East Anglian Ambulance Service (now East of England Ambulance Service) as a Clinical Supervisor and within the private sector for films and outdoor events.
In 2004 he completed his BSc (Hons) in paramedic Sciences at The University of Hertfordshire and in the same year attained the IHCD Ambulance Tutor Award. He spent the next 10 years working in partnership for the LAS as a university tutor at University of Hertfordshire and in 2008 he developed an ‘in-house’ mentorship programme for Paramedic Practice Educators validated by the University of Greenwich, another of the LAS partners. Before Joining Anglia Ruskin as a full time lecturer, Paul’s last role was as a Clinical Teal Leader.
