Background

Nick’s professional background is as an Operating Department Practitioner, theatre-based, specialising in anaesthetics. Nick moved into teaching Higher Education 13 years ago, when he developed a Diploma in Operating Department practise for HSHS. He currently teaches on the Foundation degree programmes covering issues such as Anatomy and Physiology in healthcare, research and critical thinking and its application in healthcare. The courses that Nick teaches on are all based in the classroom. Nick is currently studying for a Professional Doctorate an EdD with Anglia Ruskin University.
