Maggie is an experienced Paramedic working frontline for the London Ambulance Service as well as working part-time as a Paramedic Clinical Skills Tutor at Anglia Ruskin University.
Having graduated from the University of Bath with a BA (Hons) German and Politics degree in 2006, she immediately studied towards her ambition of becoming a Paramedic. In 2009 she qualified as a Paramedic with a Foundation Degree in Paramedic Science from the University of Hertfordshire and continued her journey working for the London Ambulance Service predominantly on frontline Ambulances and Fast Response Units (ambulance cars). Secondments have included time spent working with Team Leaders, and as a Clinical Support Advisor on the Clinical Hub in the London Ambulance Service Emergency Operations Centre. Currently Maggie works on the Cycle Response Unit in London responding to calls in congested areas quickly on a bicycle.
