Ibrahim’s research is in organic synthesis and pharmaceutical chemistry. He teaches on the Pharmaceutical Science courses.
Ibrahim obtained a degree in pharmacy from Damascus University in 2002 and worked as a community pharmacist. In 2009 he received his PhD from University of Hamburg, Germany. The doctoral research focused on the synthesis and characterization of heterocyclic organic compounds with anticipated analgesic anti-inflammatory activity.
Later he joined University of Kalamoon in Syria as a lecturer in organic and pharmaceutical chemistry. Then he moved to The University of Wolverhampton by the end of 2013 to work as visiting lecturer and researcher. Ibrahim started at Anglia Ruskin University in August 2016.
