Chris is a Senior Lecturer working across all Paramedic science programmes. He is particularly interested in cardiology and ECG analysis and is also passionate about developing the Paramedic profession and expanding the role in the wider healthcare economy.

Background

Chris worked for the East of England Ambulance Service before joining Anglia Ruskin University. He started his career in South Essex before moving to North Cambridgeshire. He was heavily involved in the trust mentorship programmes and encouraged the development of new students within the Ambulance service. Chris has held various operational management roles gaining insight into the Ambulances services role in the wider NHS. He worked closely with local Primary Care Trusts and commissioning groups. Outside of the Ambulance service Chris has been involved in custody medicine as well as advanced skills projects.

Intending to begin Professional Doctorate in Education

  • Currently undertaking PG Cert in Education
  • Hold a BSc in Human Biology & Physiology from the University of Glasgow
